Background: William M. Mercer, an international human resources consulting firm, was working with Duke Energy in Charlotte, North Carolina. The client needed materials to roll out a large, management-based, succession planning program.

Having worked with Mercer since 1993, we knew that the geographic location of their client would not be a problem for Colquitt Design. To keep the project running smoothly from a distance, we utilized a number of procedures to keep communications clear—scheduled conference calls, client request action forms, and electronic updates and layouts using Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format, pdfs. The result: a happy client and a successful program.
